About Us... |
Welcome to Piano Teacher Associates School of Music in Mississauga. We have been serving the local community for over 13 years providing music lessons to students of all ages and levels. Our goal is to encourage our students to become more aware of the musical world that surrounds them therefore creating music appreciation and enjoyment.
Our students participate in Royal Conservatory examinations, Music Festivals, Auditions, and Recitals. Many of our students are scholarship winners!
Our teachers are active musicians who love what they do and take a sincere interest in nurturing their student's love for music.
In order to facilitate communication with parents, we send quarterly reports home from our teachers outlining important learning skills and teacher comments, in addition to our lesson agenda program.
We monitor our students learning and conduct regular teacher training workshops in order to ensure the highest quality teaching. In addition, parents are encouraged to sit in on their child's lessons so that they can support at-home learning.
We also offer online learning support to all of our students including theory and practical. The learning groups are secure and only open to students of PTA School of Music. They feature file uploads, links, and other learning materials.
